If you are talking to me, then yes, I shifted the image 2-3 clicks to the left and used 2-3 clicks of blanking on the right to fill the gap there.

I can't get the Moome V3 external card to deal with 720p/72h it just will not sync. Take the Moome out and all is well with the world. Not sure why it will handle 72h at 1080p if it can't at the lower res, 720p/60 and 1080p/60 fine but not 72.

I just put up 1920x 816 96hz on a standard Marquee. It will not be able to make the vertical size right, its set to 0 now and still missing some. Horisontal size 94. Dont remember if i got the right resistors for the size in this machine, i think its not the mod value, but also not the standard one. Think its something in betwen.
V total 865
V active 816
H total 2350
H active 1920
V front 4
V sync 5
H front 200
H sync 44
V rate 95,90
Clock 194949051

Somebody already did this on mine so can't help with actual numbers. I have like 2-3 points left until zero. But maxed out to 100 on width and could have used like 2-3 more to fill the gap sideways. Here's a picture from mine. (I hope it's the right one)

You need to put your H total a bit down, try with 2400.

Really? I'll try that once it's in working order. There's a glitch on the socket where moome goes in so haven't gotten a picture back on again since yesterday. More or less given up on it as it gotten worth now. But will try if I can make it fire up again. Thanks.
Will give Deoxit a chance some day. That may solve it.. but so damn expensive.

I see your pixel clock is over 200Mhz with 96hz, you might try make a 72hz that is over 200mhz, and see if your source is up to that high pixel clock. Something like 2500x 1125 72hz
And try change the values on the Front and sync.. Looks to me like you need to change them, so the sync has the lowest value and the front the highest.
It looks to me like your synch is bigger than your back porch. Im not sure if i understand it right on your screen shots.?

It'll be easier if you told me the numbers I should try, for both 72Hz and 96Hz, and I'll try it. The numbers were given to me and I just tried it. The only reason I tried 96Hz was for fun and when I did the ghostpattern spread out so enjoy it over 72Hz. If my bought and payed for CLM would turn up I would look into that and see if I can go back to 72Hz again.

The ghost-pattern could have something to do with the CLM so I bought another one to rule that out. But I'm suspecting it has got more to do with timings we just talked about. Once here that will prove itself. But it's always good to have spare parts.

Its a bit hard to see, but that looks like the normal CLM noise, on a projector with a high G2 or brightness setting.
I normaly adjust the brightness down untill a 0% IRE solid patern looks almost all black looking at the tube face, and then balance the gray scale with G2 that will make it visible on blue tube only, how is your sourse and Moome card setup.? 16-235 or 0-255 ?

"16-235 or 0-255"
I don't know anything about that, but have many discs about it, but will give it ago with 0% IRE in the manner you just told me. Some day. I always wondered how to use those patterns..
Moome is just slapped in there. I'll give give you a heads up when trying that. But again, my pj is down so that may take a while.
EDIT: I got the timings to fill the screen @ 96Hz now. But slight haze of ringing came back with those numbers so will need to work on them again.

Could you come up with a test pattern for 72 vs. 96 and give a ruling on what the differences might be? Much softer than 72?

The pixel clock on my generator is: 330mhz
The pattern looks funny, because the DVI from my generator into the HDMI on the Moome card is obviously two different color spaces.
My generator has pre-programmed rates. And can also do custom rates, but they would need to be done using software and an RS232 cable.
