Me. A couple of 919s. They will LAST forever!
Seriously, these will most likely be my last. No reason for them to last over 10 years, and considering I'm almost 50, and my dad and grandfather died in their early 60s, I see no reason to ever buy/inherit a digital.

I have been on my last for awhile. The truth is I don't even have a CRT or pj for that matter set up right now. When I finish my place, I will decide if I stay dark or go digital. Right now I have 2 G90s and 2 G70s. In the CRT world, I have reached the pinnacle.

That is soooo open ended. Is it in reference to the G90 being the pinnacle of CRT? or are we talking about me driving my car with no brakes? or not willing to do a devils three way with you and that waitress?

Backing away from this conversation now....
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I ask you, who does the waitress look more comfortable with?

I got my last crt back in june, I have too many of them and they should last for years now...havent even watched any movie since last may, no time.hopefully that will change before christmas and i can finally start using the 1208 that i got.
we dont have hdtv broadcasts where I live and most of the stuff I watch is 720p stuff downloaded from internet so I have been happy with my 801s and have no need for a 4k projector.

I doubt I'll get another CRT. Hopefully my 8500 will hang in there for quite a while yet.

Hey, what happened to the waitress pics?!? That was this thread's one and only redeeming value!
My last CRT was my G70, which has had a new owner for almost 18 months now.
I always wanted a G90 or 909 for a CRT 'swan song' and no doubt would still be CRT if I had gotten one, but the price was always too high (IMHO). Never happened. Went digital instead and am very happy with my decision.
I'm actually amazed that even nine-inch machines have much value left at this point considering just how damn good $3500 digitals are at this point.

Hey, what happens in Dallas stays in Dallas.
Actually what was funny is that she spent almost too much time at our table, almost annoyingly so. She spent zero time with the guys at the table next to us, and they left a few minutes before us. She goes to clear the table, comes back with their business card that says 'call me sometime'.
We all laughed....
