You might try an external quad decoder. It takes composite (yellow RCA jack ) or S-video and decodes ( converts ) to RGBHV ( or for your projector RGBS ) at 15.xx khz. This makes it easier for the light guns to see the screen. Case will pipe in here. He's a big gamer.

I agree using rgb is best for light guns and older games

He's upscaling right now using the Quadscan (which I hate, there are better out there).

try combining the H and V sync using a BNC T connector. that might solve it.

Right, T'ing the H+V together is advisable on the ECP's. However for light guns they usually need 15.xxKhz in order to work properly. Hence the recommendation for the external quad decoder which has RGBS outputs.

I agree with ar as I have tried both and found my ecp liked the t on the sync over separate v and h sync

I haven't used the t I got since I got my marquee though it will work the same
