So...this 34" xbr that I have has lost a bit of emission and a bit of sharpness. Nothing horrible...but still, noticeable.

Now, why can't I do some sort of small scale rejuvenation to try and get it sharper again? Even if that lowers the usability to 1000 hours...it would 1000 hours of high quality viewing.

I know most times when rejuvenation is done, the crt's are virtually dead. Well, I'm in that camp, yet...I know some sort of rejuvenation would be good.

With the Sencore CR7000 you have very fine control over the type of rejuvenation you apply. There are several levels of rejuvenation that apply increasingly high voltages and times. You might want to try using a CR7000 if you can find access to one (I have one and Curt has one). That way you could start by using a minimal rejuvenation and see what you get out of it.

Rejuvenation works a lot better on direct view tubes than projection tubes, so you may find some good success.

From what I understand, the CR-70 is also very good, although it will only test one gun at a time.
