my xg75 has a bad focus board ( i think still need to do one more little test to isolate it completely though) question is...

i keep getting f9 errors, i can have it in a test pattern for ages playing astig and convergance but as soon as i give it an input it gives a nice picture for about three seconds then switches off displaying the f9...

1. is this board repairable?

Ive attached a pic of the board still in the machine (i'll take it out tonight if i get a spare minute) but on quick inspection there are three grey with red stripe cap looking things just under the three plugs the one on the left looks like its swollen out the top and was wondering if this might be the issue ( blue focus not really responding much via menu and trim pot inputs....) i'll be doing this tonight anyway, but will cleaning the board connections help?

2. Will the focus board out of other xg's work or must it be a 75?

Thanks for any input on this..

I would strongly recommend NOT throwing in a used board, as the boards run red hot and might fail again. I can repair it for $150 incl return shipping.
