Situation

Stock - Nothing works
Stock + a jack in the remote in connector - internal remote works
disconnected IR subboard - internal works

I had 3 of those IR boards, now i have 0 working left. Also tried swapping the convergence driver (since thats what the ir board connects to) no change

Anyone have an idea to help me? This is quite annoying

Barco's ir receivers have problems if in the room there are any fluorescent lamps.
If yes, turn off these lamps and try again.

All Barco's remotes must to program with same address of the projector (you can view the address in the identification screen).

I agree on the fluorescent. We even had a Moome card cause issues in a Marquee remote, so if you're using a Moome external box, try moving it.

the Barco IR receivers don't really fail often, neither do the controller boards, so I'd say check other stuff as per the above post.

Offcourse i couldn't leave it like this and i tested some more yesterday. With the rear IR connector disconnected i had no issues at all.

Now about the fluorescent lamp, there is a fluorescent lamp about 15cm away from the rear IR sensor ... that's probably the issue!

Will reconnect it tonight and turn off the lamp! That should fix the issue!
