And yes i had toasty tubes in the past not usable in this condition.

The control im getting from this machine is staggering!!! And i defiantly understand the obsession of NEC now, my Barco Cine 7 was a wonderful machine to learn on but this NEC xg's control is just on a whole other level! everything i started wishing my Barco could do this does out the box! except tubes!!! those dam stupid tubes!!!! i'll be keeping an eye out for a set as the electronics in this machine make others that ive played with a joke. Im a NEC converted and might stay that way till i go digital...

I might have some tubes that are in considerably better shape than the ones you have. I'll have to check them out and take some pictures.
