I know some of you guys are in the pro audio market.

The main supplier for my generic line of made in China speakers just went bankrupt, and that sort of leaves me high and try for things like 70 volt volume controls, in ceiling and surface mount speakers, etc.

The line I used to carry was:

www.convexav.com.

I need a replacement product line. The other supplier I dealt with locally got out of sound a few years ago, so there went my backup plan.

I don't care if they're local to Vancouver or not, I can ship to Wa. state. What matters is quality and price. I don't want the stuff to fall apart the second I take it out of the box, nor do I want 20% failure rate out of the box.

The Convex stuff held its own with a bunch of the brand name stuff, and to give you an idea of my cost pricing:

-$14 for a 35 watt 70 volt volume control
-$75 for a pair of surface mount 5" 2 way speakers
-$120 for a pair of surface mount 8" 2 way speakers.

I don't need power amps, or CAT 5 stuff, I've got plenty of sources for that.

Atlas/Soundolier is local to me, but they tend to be a bit pricey compared to the Convex stuff.

Let me know what you guys think and have had experience with.

Their Dayton brand enclosed ceiling speakers are really really good sounding and don't cost a fortune. I have a wholesale account with them.
