the difference is obvious, even after you downgraded my shots for comparison. I only hoped you would be able to see WHY most of us on this forum stay with CRT.
But you do win the sharpness part of things (as predicted).

When stridsvognen is zooming in on our pictures it is ok, but when Diddern resize them a litttle it is not?
Even if I donīt think screenshots have much value, the difference between the 9" CRT and X500 on these Baraka images is so big it is funny. Imagine how it will look on a 100-140" screen. LOL!

With these picture I donīt see any reason to stay with CRT.
The difference is so big it is funny, and not only sharpness. If you donīt see that you must be near blind. And on a big HT screen the difference will be much much bigger. And sharpness is only one of many things we can see even from these sh*tty screenshots.

But you can say something about sharpness, detail, depth and HD feel from these pictures.

There is, and it goes without saying, whenever you resize an HD image, you degrade it.

He Zooms in, which allows to see the structure of the image. Resizing manipulates the source structure

Post ypor originals and resize Didderns pictures and sse for your self. The CRT looks so soft and flat it is far from what this would look like in real life, the X500 ia aslo far from it, but waaay closer than the CRT. And flat dynamics is soo funny, the X500 is so much more dynamic than the CRT it is unbeliveable. The X500 looks so much more real than the CRT.
And can you explain to me what looks artificial on the X500 shots??

So what i understand you saying now is that no matter the camera or the man behind the camera, any random screenshots can be picked up, and used for sharpness detail dept comparison.?

I have always said I donīt like screenshots for comparison, but the difference here is so big it is ridicilous. So I can draw this conclution.
You on the other hand can draw adwanced conclutions about color, blacklevel, color resolution and so on.

The test you were at never showed them side by side and thus you can not draw any conclution from that. This is wat Seegs108 who owned the X500 said after the meet, you never side by side tested them.

Look at the red leafs, grass, the person, water+++ what looks more like what you would see in real life??
And muted colors on the X500??
