You guys say you can see the blacklevel of a projector by looking at screenshots, how do you explain the HW55 and X500. The X500 has about 10 times lower blacklevel than the HW55, but on the screenshot it looks about the same.

Please explain this to me?

You can tell only deep black and black. being able to determine black level on a screenshot is ridiculous.

Just a sample of why im not jumping around shooting screen shots, im a terrible camera man, and have a lot of work to do to this Marquee standing here.

But ill try get it done soon, and find out how to use the camera.

When are you going to finish working on your Marquee? You said the same 1.5 years ago also when we had the same idiotic discussion with a slightly different topic.

Ill finish when i have time.. Im using it without any problems, but for this competition ill have to go true the magnetics, and optical focus, its quite bad as is.

I have my JVC hanging, on the same screen, and i prefer a badly setup Marquee, for reasons you will never understand.

Why dont guys like you just adjust and mod the perfect projector you have, instead of changing them so often.?

It's really a waste of time trying to communicate to you guys. The point was simple. The ape is CGI - that was my point. Go back and look at the example

That's right, you own a digital, you would never understand that, because it's not possible with your setup.. Mr. Green

Then please take a closeup of an analogue movie with alot of detail and post it here. Only use your camera to zoom in really close like Diddern did with the Prometheus shot. We will answer. I will use my HW55 as you will have trouble even with that. Laughing

And you need to buy Prometheus 2D version and post the same closeup to make us happy! Ok??

And Mike.

There is many shots in King Kong where the Ape is clear when seen from a distance when you see it on a digital, but maby not when you see it on a CRT...

And please take a screenshot closeup of a 100% analogue film with a natural look. If I have the movie I will answer.

Never mind guys.

You want to compare shots, but you don't want to use the X500. You want to use a lessor projector, knowing it was not the one mentioned for challenge. You also want to do zoom-in, but not screenshots that show how things look on the entire screen (screenshot). What's next. If I stay around and deal with anymore of these ridiculous request, you'll be asking me to use my cell phone as a camera, because you seem to be thinking up really stupid stuff.

All I know is for some reason, you don't want to post ANY pictures or shots from either of your X500's.

That makes perfect sense to me, because you already know what the outcome is going to be. At least you seem to act as if you lost confidence in the X500

So bye!

No.. Its a waste of time. The same exact bickering and questioning and answering has been going on for days, nothing has been accomplished at all.

Mike, I give you credit for even attempting to enlighten those 2, you held out a lot longer than anyone else Razz

I can of corse post pictures of my X500 as it is a much better projector than the HW55. Why you have to decide all the terms and why you can not take a picture of a movie shot on digital cameras I donīt understand. And a closeup can say something about the detals the projector can show much better than zooming in on a compressed jpg like stridsvognen does here all the time. And when he does it it is ok with you, but when we ask for a close up it is not, I donīt understand. And why only analogue movies is ok to take shots of is also a mystery to me.

But since you are the expert have to explain this to a stupid moron of a Norwegian.

But to me it is obvious why you wonīt post the same picture from Prometheus.
