New picture from mike.

Still a lot of black crush, and if it is how it is shown on screen he needs to adjust his out of this world CRT. By the way videolevel is 16-235.

And why did not the screenshot master post it himself??

He sent me the original camera file, and let me upload it here.

Now you mention black crush, what do you call the stuff going on in your picture.?

Lets see if Mike will send another picture later, and if he can still hold black, so it dont look gray/ green like in your shot.

I get a good workout with all the laughter when I read your posts.

Ohh thought u had left.. Now your still here, why dont you take a screen shot of that muddy face where we can see the details around the eyes.

I alredy spent to much time here this weekend, now it is family time and I have told you 100 times I will not post anymore screenshots.

We know the CRT have very bad MTF. we got used to that. And we also wonder why a high bandwidth CRT shows so much more details in a complex image than a new Digital.

I guess the lack of extra digital processing and CMS correction. must be a part of it.

I could do this later or this coming week, because it would take about an hour to dial in 297mhz tight enough for that pattern. It's really not easy doing it on a CRT at very high resolutions

Not very user friendly! And donīt forget to show it with all toubes on not only green. Thumbs Up

And please do it.

I could do the same I just have to start my digital, but as I have already posted one of a digital I donīt have to.

And why is it not dialed in tight enough now??

You are talking against yourself here when you say the CRT shows more detail than a digital. And none of you have admitted CRT has very low MTF.

The other things you say is just BS.

Tell me this and only this.

Have you ever seen a high bandwidth CRT projector, or for that matter a CRT who will resolve more than 80Mhz.?

As i been trying to ask.. Is that muddy face shot the best you guys can do, or can you do it better.?

Have read anything I wrote?
You don't know what you're talking about CRT is a interlaced machine.
You are right it will be something better but still many miles from today's technology. You have to wake up and smell the coffee

A interlaced machine..?? lol

Please explain how that works..

CRT with lines or is it pixels?

And again waiting for your answer,

I have no problem admitting that MTF is very very bad on a CRT.. If what i say is BS, where did the details around the eyes of that muddy face shot go on your JVC with super high MTF.?

If its a camera thing, please take a new picture showing how much better it really looks.
