I figured you would look for Sharpness. Those shots are taking from the start (clips) of a Blu Ray disk. And since they were not Sharp on the disk, my CRT will not add any sharpness to them. Well, that's not going to be the case with your Sony, because everything is going to look sharper. And that why you guys are doing back flips of excitement owning them -- sharpness

btw, will your VW1000 be native 4K when it hits disk?

Wow mike, I've seen a LOT of your screenshots, I have to say the new glycol is like replacing the tubes almost! Very very nice Thumbs Up

I think that the image looks incredible, too sharp of an image and it would look more fake than real.

Mike beautifull shots. The digitals would prefer that in superbright light with enhanced edges not like the director ment it. I bet that if the director sees his movies the way 4k enhanced viewers see it he would turn down the lights and ask for more makeup. He might even use blur filters because it looks unreal on digital video flatness. CRT is still the bomb Wink

Sony or jvc does not add sharpness if you set up correctly does not add sharpness at all. The Crt is taking away sharpness therefore so soft like vhs.
But nice pictures on my iPhone

Trust me mr this movie is made digital and not ment shown on a CRT with pixels so what you say is so off to reality.
But if you like it I won't stop you.
But all you say here in this post is just clueless.
But keep up the great work.

Trust me your $30,000+ of projectors in your avatar sucks, the Sony LSPX-W1S is where its at, I mean for $50,000 how could it not be more superior? That 1100 is so out of date, theres no way it could compete with this beast!

This just shows how clueless you guys are. This is an animated film made on computers and they are 100% digital and are made to be shown in digital theaters and digital HT. If the director saw this on Mikes CRT he would shake his head and leave.

But I find all the people in here who still think CRT is the bomb to be a dying rase and more and more people leave CRT and go digital and in the end all projectors,TVīs and Cinemas will be digital. What will you do then, stop watching movies because all digital technology sucks? You guys have to wake up and smell the coffee, digital is the future whether you like it or not!

I have already pointed out about 5 different things you were totally wrong about, which you tried to twist around in your favor, unsuccessfully I might add. So it is clear that you are more likely a city sewer worker since you show little knowledge in anything else.

Oh, what's that? Your phone is ringing. Someone has a clogged toilet. Better get on it right away. Laughing
