They are weak points from your perspective, but irrelevant where bandwidth and speed is the critical factor. But of course, you're still going by the ansi and MTF of the measured CRT projectors you may have experienced.

But that is relevant to the topic is it not?
And relevant to best image quality ?

The constant pursuit to talk about MTF and ANSI, is like us keep asking about the bandwidth of your digital. CRT does what it does best, even at the noted MTF and ANSI. And concerning image quality, you'll need to prove that your higher MTF and ANSI gives you the better image quality. And based on the number differences, a digital should simply BLOW a CRT away in everything, including BLACK

Some answers.

We never seen any hint of proof that Greg ever improved the bandwidth.
We have tried to let him proove this but it's just words.

You did post quite a lot about that testing, and other than a lot of problems, a 909 turning into a 808 and stuff like that, it was totally unprofessional, and can only be seen a attempt to get CRT looks bad. This is not true Greg promised the user that it would be better than a vw1000 that's the start of this topic.
So do not blame me.

If you want to prove me wrong, just post a bandwidth test of that moddet CRT resolving a 200Mhz signal without peaking or other distortion.
You have asked Greg that question did you get it? No!!!

We still miss to see a 720P 60 hz resolved decent on a Barco.
That is something I don't care about because it's 2015 and now it's blueray and soon 4K

That dont mean it has no quality, and no one like it for what it is, it just wont resolve a HD source.
.....This is your words I have saied all the time a CRT look god when not comparing.

And claiming that bandwidth dont do much difference.... It does a difference but not enough to beat in any way a god digital 2015

Is it possible that you have never seen a CRT able to resolve 148Mhz.? one of the mods had 180Mhz and I think the last one was much higher.

You have been looking at this moddet Barco, and posting Pictures, and we went true the right patterns to confirm the bandwidth.

You eat the nr without any doubt, just as you do with digital. What is important is the end result, and how it looks on the screen, you fumbeled around with a Barco 808 WHO was still not able to resolve a 720P signal, and claim it to be high bandwidth.

Wake up and look at the fact, and go smell your morning coffe.

What is wrong with you guys??

Did I ask you to post that picture?

And why diid he use it from the screenshots thread, especially what I had posted.....but I figured he would do exactly that.

Why can't Diddern STOP resizing my images.... he messed up another one of them, even after aditting that the other example I gave him the un-sized image was better.

I got pictures for you, but I prefer to ley you go first.. Mr. Green

And to prove how sneaky he is. Look at the size of the two mages... one 100kb the other 300+ now which one is lower?

This is just copied from your link and he did not mess it up, you did in the first place. And when you post pictures here you do not have copyright. Wink

But take another of the same and post it here for comparison, it will not make any difference. You guys have resized and zoomed and messed with mine and Didderns pictures and we have never complained.

We start with Didderns latest. Come up with the same picture from your CRT and explain what you see.

Then take another shot of that, do you think that will matter?

Mr Diddern would you please stop fiddling with my images and stop posting shots I've not asked you to.

You modified my shot down almost a forth of the resolution of you own. Why would you do that. How could you conscientiously do something so tricky and think you'll get away with it?

Post another and make it bigger in size than the jVC and see if it helps. Rolling Eyes

You are on a forum that clames that CRT is better than a VW1000, and I use a x500. I can buy 7 jvc X500 or 1 VW1100

What is the problem?

So you are calling the shots here, and we have to follow your lead.

When you post pictures on this site you do not have copyright, we can do what we like with them and you with ours. But we only resize, nothing else.

Row, row, row your boat!Laughing Laughing Laughing

Why have you posted hundreds of shots from this movie then? It is shot on film and have a natural look, everything is there for your beloved CRT.

But please feel free to post something else.

I have one more thing to do on my projector and that was mentioned before, and that fact that he diminished it four times lower than his own, says a lot about both of you.

Anyway, since he did not do the two I had asked him to post, I'll post a few more for now. But be patient until I can get around to setting up my projector better.

I have told you feel free to fix your CRT before you take screenshots, and this was many days ago, how long does it take??

And most of these images has nothing to do with flesh tones. And I must say theses are very bad shots. Wink
