What is your point?

You are the one who can draw advanced conclutions from screenshots. Rolling Eyes

Its a simple question, and anyone is welcome to redo the shot if they feel it can be done better.

""Mine is closer to how it looks on screen. """ <--- Remember that conclusion..?

Then I was talking about the light in the picture not the detail. And if you think de detail level is better on a CRT with 30-50% MTF against a digital with 90+% MTF you need to think again.

Why is the details washed out in your image.?

Can you take a new picture who show the detail level on your screen better.?

Now you need to stop, you can not draw these conclutions from screenshots and certainly not when zoomed in.

The detail in the CRT Cars picture is washed out and I use the picture Mike posted, I can not take new picture of his CRT.

Yours have, i also think we should ask Mike to take a new shot of that.

So lets take a look on both animated and natural content, and see how far we can push the pictures on both CRT and digital.

It is worthless, you need to do it like I have said many times ( same HT, same screen, same camera, same settings+++) and we need to look at uncompressed images then it could have some value. You need to stop this bull screenshot war.

This must be done at the same screen with digital and the CRT not by different shots on different screen and different cameras.
I really can't belive that you don't stop when you now now that a CRT has mtf about 30.
This just prove that you have no clue on this at all. But I understand that you love to provoke but it get more and more stupid to the fact and reality.

Hey stridsvognen now you really must stop.
Like sayed before 30mtf will NEVER beat this in any way whatsoever. And not ever in detail debth and so on. And screanshots do not prove sh*t. Hehe.

Thats ok.. Then it should not be a problem to take a screen shot of that JVC showing how much better the detail level is right.?

I think Mike uses a old cheep 2,3 M pixel camera, so i doubt thats where the details come from.

I just have a hard time to understand why those 30MTF display so much details in that face.. It should be easy for you guys to beat that up with one hand on your back.

A few pages ago you guys wanted screen shots, and wanted to see the original files, i got those from wolfman, never got any of yours, Mike also send a original file from his camera.

I think this is fun, and you guys have the best cameras, and projectors with the highest MTF ansi contrast and so on.

Would be interesting to see the best screenshots you can come up with.. Or is that the ones we have already.?

Look at the Cars picture not zoomed in, and look at the Apocalypto picture not zoomed in.

Look at the detail in these even if it is worthless.

Yeah you got Wolfman and his standard Marquee cornered there. Wonder why your pictures always display green noise in the black area. ?

Whats much more interesting is how the face shot will turn out against a high bandwidth CRT like Mikes.

As I have said now hundreds of times It would be interesting if we could do it in the same HT, same screen, same camera and settings and then look at the uncompressed pictures.

If you really think a CRT shows more detail on screen I think you need to wake up from your dream. Wink

I know this and want to stop this bull****.
Here I have taken a ipad pictureform the great Mr G.
Also putting up the picture earlier, do not know what camera.

What is there to prove?

And here you can easily see more detail in the jewellery on the JVC without zooming in, so as I say screenshots are worthless.

I just told you guys that you cornered Wolfmans shots, why not try finish the face shot with all the mud, i think Mike will redo that one as the last one was made with some daylight in his room.
Not sure if he did.. Lets see when he gets up over there.

Was your picture of that perfect, or can you do better.?

I will not take anymore pictures and compress them down to 2-500kb and post them here for you to see with your expert eyes that Mikes CRT has more detail than a JVC X500. Rolling Eyes

You can also from my screenshots see that I have color resolution problems in my setup. Thumbs Up
