Ile, I download your pattern-of-streaking-doom and displayed it on my 708/Cine7. I can't reproduce that streak you show above.

Test pattern have pluge patterns to adjust G2 and brightness correctly. If you can see all four rectangles at screen, those are adjusted good enough to see if projector have streaking problem.

Some movies/series have streaking kind effects used in car lights in dark etc.

What I call "reversed streaking" (grey is bit darker after full white area) can be seen in most crt projectors, but it's another problem and doesn't show up with video content. It's best seen when you use pc filemanager window over light gray desktop.

Ile: I saw the 4 rectangles and the white dot. I guess I can confidently say mine doesn't suffer from this problem. I've never noticed any kind of streaking in dark scenes (eg. car lights or handheld flashlights in a dark room scene).

cine7 has these cool little leds on the board under the crt's (toward the necks) that light up when the g2 is correct ... one for each colour... just turn the adjustment either way till the led lights up and your done.... i run my brightness at 50 and contrast 78 on permanent boost mode.... black cutoffs need to come up from the 6500k setting and a lot of detail starts showing up down low.... i run my white quite hard too and get no streaking???

I'm familiar with that led system in bigger Barco models.

Led system is lost when ABL is removed from 801s/808 to get rid of streaking, but it's not that big thing. Manual adjustment is not that hard.

It would been surprise to me if cine7 had this kind problem from factory. Thumbs Up

BTW, this was solved by centering the image on the tube face.

I had it floor mounted and had to move the image up the tube a fair bit....

Wouldve been better to just tilt the projector upwards at the front more and center the raster properly instead of moving the image off center.
