I keep searching for a 9" CRT projector!
But currently i'm very happy with my 808, starting to get the hang of the setup so the image is only improving and improving.
Getting a set of 9"tubes + LC housings + lenses would be ideal for me, quite certain i could modify the chassis myself and i have lots of spares for my machine (including quad's and EHT).

I just sealed a deal for a marquee 9500LC as a parts set(not that I can't put it back together which I can) I may just fix the nec and sell it not sure as it has been a hit or miss with the boards and I still worry about one failing
So if I do and you are close I will let you know (need to know how close you are) as I don't see me having the time to make another screen to set it up anytime soon even if I get it fixed
If you want to you can pm me and we could go from there but I still have to fix it first(the set does work fully just has a issue with the gain board on the green channel)

Ah the reason why 9"tubes + LC housings + lenses would be ideal is because i live in europe and shipping an entire projector is waaaaaaaaaay too expensive.

I see if you really want them pm me a offer and I will think about it as I really don't want to risk another board getting damaged in shipping(last box looked like it was kicked like a football and two of the boards got damaged)
Now remember these are low hour tubes so they would have value plus you would need the neck boards for the tubes(I have those also)
Now the lens are the HD-10L so look into the specs to see if they will work with your screen as mine is 120 inches diagonal

Ive never had a PAPST fail yet in one of those, had a SIEMENS circuit board blow a hole in its self earlier in the week... |
That would be a must see
I get two of the four fans I ordered tomorrow and will update when I get them(most likely it will be late in the day as ups has got me at the end of the route and it sucks) |
Not much to see now, Rational in Germany have a buy back plan on for PCBs used in their CPC line of ovens and ive packaged 3 faulty boards up to sell back to them at €10 each. They have discontinued the CPC production and figure itll be easier for them to continue support for these if they buy back all the faulty boards for refurbishment. Good luck with this one

E,
You have the 10PG that is a 9" machine with coloured C-elements installed right from factory, but you crying for converting the M8110 to 9". Am I the only one who see some connection here... just a bit of metal work needed

The c elements may be swappable but the tubes are not due to different setups on the neck boards
I am in the works on getting some spare parts for my quee as it is(including 9inch tubes) so the only thing I will most likely need is the c elements(going to find out for sure if they can be transferred or not)

No Gabór, youre not the only one... But what i still cant understand is why not just convert the 10PG to a working 10PG?

Case what if I did get it fixed only to have say the low voltage power supply fail
As it is the tubes are worth more then the chassis

Horse s***. Stop making excuses. Its not like as if the parts cant be had easily, and with all your experience and knowledge you will be able to do it what ever happens.

It would be working had the postal service not put something heavy on the box curt had shipped the boards in and crushed the box which damaged two boards in the process one was a output board which didn't need but would have liked to had as a spare the other is the gain board that I have in the set now
The reason I am not really wanting to risk it is I am afraid the next board may get damaged in shipping
Now I could get another board from curt and try it and see if it fixs the set but curt said there is no garentee it will work due to being stored for 2-3+ years
I have other things to get done and even though I have my marquee(which gives a great picture don't get me wroung) I would like to either get it working or out of my way you get my point
See the samsung tv I have I can get new parts for(except tubes) at least for now
I could have curt recap the board I have but it would be pricy to say the least

Ok as soon as I get the other things I got to get done I will have curt send me a replacement gain board for the beast
As far as moving it that's a major pain in the arse and back I recently got a cart to sit it on so I could move it easier
One thing which of the HD-10 lens is best my 10PG has the HD-10L lens
I also have some of the rubber fan mounts so I can do the fan mod to the power supply fans(those bug the crap out of me)
I have put different fans in my Ecp and the noise level has dropped a lot(only have received two of the four)

HD-10F from a late model G90 sony- but you wont see big difference to a 10E, and with a 10PG its a waste of time swapping lenses if theyre not broke, all of them are good enough.
now if you have a built to the max 9500 marquee then MAYBE its worth it to buy the best of the best.

No excuses, get it organised!! All the time you spend here typing the same thing over and over could be better spent fixing machines. Use copy and paste!! Itll save you plenty of time
