Hi!
I am a german home theater fan. I calibrated my tv using the "greyscale & colour calbibration for dummies" how-to with great success. Now i heard about the 20p calibration, which is also supported by my tv.
Ist there any how-to where I can learn about how the 20p calibration works?
greetings from germany!

I guess your refering to the 20 point gray scale.. HCFR have 4- 10- 20 point gray scale. Dont know why they dont call it 5 -11 and 21 point.
If thats the thing you like to use, its identical to the normal 10/ 11 point calibration. Just tighter intervals and more points to adjust.
Its selected in the the top menu (measures) and select (parameters) in the sub menu.

yeah, I menat the 20 Point Grayscale Calibration. Calibrated my LG LED TV today. Worked very well.
Only problem is, that my Gammacurve is going down past 70 IRE.
What can I do to keep it linear?!

Try use your contrast setting to get the high ire levels straight, but it most likely means you need to start all over again.
Normaly you can tilt the gamma curve using the contrast and brightness adjustments, when thats corect, use the 20 point corection to get the levels betwen straight.
Remember to check the black and white levels with a test pattern, make sure they are right.
