My pj decided to bust my balls again. Starting from the right upper corner, and a foot down (2,35.1), there's a razor sharp line going from right to left. Within that section it is brighter by like 5 % at the very right of the image.. the brightness fades towards the middle and melts in with the rest of the image. But pretty sure it goes all the way a cross, I just can't see it, thankfully. It's no burn in.. because I can move the image up and down and that section tracks with it on all colors.

I've been messing around inside before when I swapped the green tube, but haven't made any errors that I know off. Any ideas? I suppose I could try a spare HDM to rule that out. Swapped VIM boards though but still present either way.

I'll Google it and see what happens. I think I know what it is. Thanks for the advice. Smile

Hi again..

I have removed it now and started it up, but it's still there.

Here it goes. The split red line is exactly where that line goes. Hardly visible but I assure you it's there. Very annoying.

I have high voltage cables a little sloppy all over the place.. not tugged into there plastic holders. Have a thought it might have got something to do about with voltage for some reason. I'm going to install the Frankenyokes II for the second time around but haven't bothered to - hence the cables. As a side note.

I stand corrected. I walked up to the screen and used shift up and down with blue red ands green separate.. and indeed the line is solid where it is. I was so sure it was moving up and down before... in fact it's in place all the time. It has got nothing to do with individual colors. The line stays where it is. Had a finger next to it to prove it. 99 % sure. Will make another try to be sure.

Ok.. thanks for clearing that up. I thought I ruined my pj with a bad set up. If there's a way of getting rid of it I'd like to know. I have been using it for a full year now and never seen this before. Maybe it becomes more or less visible from set up to set up. Well, now I have a valid reason to do it all over again.
Thanks again.
