It works the same as the $25 stripper in that it creates its own HDCP handshake and removes the copy protection to the 2 outputs but it is HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 capable for 4k @ 60hz. I could only test the HDMI 1.4 @ 1080p output and the EDID switch I left in the TV position. Thumbs Up

Actually I can use my Radiance PRO to check for HDCP too.
