Weirder still I read that as "Nash, your PANTS are safe in Cliff's basement..."
The belly pic isn't helping. At all.

Hung out with Craig Rounds today. Spent some time walking around downtown as well, taking pictures.
Spent a couple of hours brainstorming the 909 controller boards, seeing if we could come up with any ideas to troubleshoot those bad boys. Some progress was made.
Off to Wisconsin tomorrow, then Mt Rushmore.

Must have been after. I didn't see nothing, sorry!
Made it to Wisconsin, and came away with a score. Dropped in at a planetarium that was selling off some stuff, and just haaappppened to mention that I was into reel to reel tape recorders as well. So the guy goes into the back room and says 'here, you can have this, we haven't used it in 20 years.
it was.... a Teac X2000R with dbx, black face, NAB hubs and original takeup reel. Zero head wear, looks mint.
Don't hate me, Zap!
Off to Mount Rushmore tomorrow.

Gotta say thanks to Steve for posting the info about the Badlands and Needles, etc. Left Wisconsin this morning, hit snow in Minnesota, but it wasn't sticking, so I kept doing 80. Got to the Badlands and loved it. Amazing! Went to Mt Rushmore as it was getting dark, didn't make it to Needles or Deadwood sadly, but did go to Wall, and to Wall Drug. Talk about touristy kitsch!
Was pleasantly surprised to find out that Devil's Tower is right near this little town I'm in, so that's my first stop tomorrow at sunup... then off to Yellowstone for 36 hours.

That's a cool thing. I've been there a couple times, you'll like it.

Hey now, don't go telling people what took place in Dallas.
I thought Steve had mentioned Devil's Tower. Oh well, it sounds like it should be a fun visit.

Conquered Devil's Tower this morning. Another parking fee missed, I was there at 7 AM, and no one was there to take my money!
Devil's Tower was amazing, you don't really get it until you're on top of it, so to speak.
I managed to catch the timing of a bunch of pix at sunrise. I was choked that I missed the nice pink sky by about 15 minutes, but was rewarded with a ray of sunlight that lit up the top 1/5 or so of the tower in a nice orange glow while the rest was relatively dark.
Nash, if you'd be so kind to steal one of those pix from Facebook and post it here, that would be great. I think a couple of shots are postcard worthy.
Sitting under 65 degree weather and blue skies in Yellowstone. Am about to go postal taking 300+ pictures as soon as I get some food. Spending the day here tomorrow, then off to Idaho.
