Ok, here's what your going to need to do. Hope you have your 15 dollar radio shack desoldering iron handy.

You need to swap ic602 with ic601 and see if the screech moves again or stays. You can put C631 back in also.

RadioShack? Never! I have a Tenma station and a "xytronic" station.

I DO have standards when doing this ya know Wink Laughing

And will do mac.

Oh, if you have spares then just change out ic602 and see what happens.

Also it does look like it got hot, the area of the board its soldered to is really dark compared to the other 3 STKs

Well mac, the STK isn't the issue unfortunately. so with that out of the way, whats left?

Do you have extra caps of these values?

2) 220uf/10v or slightly higher voltage.
2) 10uf/50v
2) 47uf/25v

C622, C627, C631, C636, C670 and C665.
