Guys I just got my spare tubes from curt only to find one of the cooling chambers were damaged in shipping
Anybody got a spare?
I would hate to have to remove one from one of the other tubes if I can get a replacement
If not I could use a good guide to remove it from the tube so I can swap one out

SD187 and 07MS are different tubes, but probably have the same housing.
Pull your old housings off and use that.

Pull your old housings off and use that. | they are but i don't know how to remove the housing(it isn't shown in the service manual) but the one on the tube looks ready to crumble(and likely will when i remove it)
i know i would need a razor blade because of the silicone and fresh silicone(forgot to get some today when i got the clr)
i got two sd187 tubes and two 07ms tubes from curt(red and green as he didn't have any blue tubes)
the 07ms red is the one with the damage chamber
but when i am done i will have four mint sd187 tubes for future use in the set(just have to get some blue tubes to go with them)
i have to defungus both the 07ms tubes before i use them (found the how to on the site pretty easy)

I cant see how the housing could be that bad, it should only need new glass.

For defungusing the tubes but it don't show much about the glass
I may have to get two peices as one has a slight scratch on it(not sure if that would affect the picture quality or not)and do both 07ms tubes (both sd187 tubes hasn't got a scratch on them))
I am going to look and see if there is a how to on here somewhere but it looks pretty straight forward
Anybody know what silicone I would need to get?

I do remember reading a post about it, but then again I use to read EVERY post on here. So finding it could be a little difficult.
From what I remember you'll need a long thin blade, some clear silicone and since you are in the US, good health insurance that will cover a finger re-attachment.

Haha I haven't lost a finger work on electronics to date
But I will find me a long thin blade of some sort to use
But I have good health insureance should a misshap like that happen(though I have cut myself from mishaps before while working on computers)
I haven't looked through the reads to see (it would take a while to do)and look for the thread

Got it off had to use a large box cutter and some patience
Still nicked my thumb on the damaged area(some much for not hurting myself while working but the cut is small so no need for a finger reattachment(sorry to disappoint anyone who thought I might)
I will have to wait till Monday to get a new peice of glass cut for it
I will admit that it is thick and heavy for its size hopefully its cheap(if it is I may get two and replace the one on the green tube as it has some slight scratches on it
