Not as yet, but ill keep an eye out for a dead 64" 4:3 rear pro CRT and retro fit the 9PG into that i reckon.

I plan on doing that with my Ecp once I get my nec fixed up but it will most likely be a smaller screen unless I come across a larger tv for cheap(they are plentiful in my area) as my Ecp is better suited for a smaller screen anyway(its dim compared to my pg)
Not sure if I will get a 4:3 chassis or 16:9 chassis but it will more likely be a 4:3 so I can use the most of the tubes(and I am getting a spare set also)so I could use it for games and the pg for my movies

Uhhh, isn't that the same as a Cine9 or is it some special version?

The BarcoReality 909 has a few options that are not in the Cine9, but these are mostly superficial. See attachment.
This works both ways, as the BR909 did not have coloured C-elements as standard, IIRC.

No they changed the big gold emblem to say CineMAX Wink Apart from that its probably identical, Curt will be able to confirm that.

Not sure on year, being a CineMAX i assume its a later one from what i was told months ago. About 6,900 hours on it, abit of 16:9 wear in a large looking area on the green, looks like no wear on the blue, will know when it arrives.

Will see if i can get some pics up.

LOL!

Congrats, Case! Looks like a very nice example!

Ever since I played with them in a couple of VR installations, the BR909 was always my dream CRT before I realized market price and what I'd be willing to pay would likely never intersect.

I didn't see that response. I did actually look at that but decided against it. Part of that reason was he wouldn't ship. So there you go.

Cheers mate Wink For me it was reading in A magazine called What HiFi, i read an issue where they tested the Cine 9 and the Vidikron Vision One, and although it was alot of years ago and i dont quite remember much about what they said about them in either review, i just remember them saying they were the best projector available on the market, and it was always a dream of mine to have one. For what i paid i think i did pretty well really.

I simply said if he was serious about selling, im serious about buying, and arangements were made.
