Tim.. Is there PT 22 tubes with different types of Phosphor.? If so.. What do PT22 stand for.?

Not sure. Some 9500s with P43 had greens labeled PT22-19, some had hand written labels as if made in small batches.

I found the Chart for types of Phosphors and the corresponding CIE graph locations.

I had one form Thomas Electronics they sent me to show what phosphors they had stock. They also said they could make them to order. But that was 4 years ago.

Guys

One of the Electrohome engineers sent me a chart like that years ago, listing colors and decay times. There was an orange phosphor with a decay of several seconds, for a radar tube, or maybe traffic lights Smile

most likely a radar display tube as i have yet to see a picture tube in a traffic light(though stranger thins have happened)
