I just emailed S&W and asked them if there's a way to change resolutions from the Shoebox. I'll let you know what they say.

S&W got back to me. They tell me the Interpolator 2 GOLD is a discontinued and unsupported product.

BUT He sent me the manual for the Shoebox. There's a installer menu and it tells me how to get into it.

Substitute SCANFLAG for the password "‘RODERICK" and select OK. The front page should now read Installer mode instead of a blank line.

OK, I get 960i, but why would you use 704 for h, Jeremy? Are you just cropping 8 pixels off each side or something?

EDIT - 120 hertz interlaced would be an odd number of film frames, too... 5 interlaced fields per frame, or two different film frames getting split between two different video frames (so interlaced) every 1/5 of a second. I think you'd want to use 960i @ 96hz, which would be 4 fields per film frame, and therefore no judder or interlaced frames.

Come to think it, there may not be any judder. 1 out of 5 video frames would have two film frames on it, but I'm not sure it would matter in this case.

Is it possible you are looking at preprogrammed resolutions? Maybe you have to make new ones.
