...didn't market them properly to sell them while they were still worth something. Mr. Green

This is what's left from my recent 9500 9" tube purchase. A bunch are sold already. Not included in this pix are another 8 reds that didn't fit on this wall... Rolling Eyes

I just love that topic.. made me laugh so hard. That's comedy on any stage.

Wasn't there a dude who wanted to be buried with a CRT even? Or at least a tube?

45 tubes holy crap Shocked are there any nec 10pg tubes by any chance? Very Happy
Not that I need any since mine are near mint but it would be worth have a spare set of tubes for such a wonderful beast that the 10pg is(amazing picture from those 9inch tubes) almost got the beast fully recapped and ready to run just have to get the video boards done then it will be ready to run for a long time

Seriously though that's a lot of tubes for one person to hoard up

I only have one and its a projection tv tube(and one broke tube)

Given the amount of hours on them I doubt it either(less then 2k and the tubes a 9red and blue 8 green according to curts wear chart) but thought I'd ask what tubes he had since he's hoarded so many

8ish wear on a 10PG tube after 2k hours, that must have pushed pretty hard!

I think the set had issues before as it had the brightness and contrast almost to max I turned them down(to resionible levels) and till got a nice vivid picture from the set (that was till the video went black Shocked )but I am going to see what curt says on the cost to repair the remaining three boards in the set I need fixed

Even after I adjusted it back to normal levels the picture from the set still looks great

I got my pg from member doc Hollywood who didn't use it much and said he got the set from a rich guy so maybe the first owner didn't treat it right (I love the picture from it though it has slight tube wear on the green tube(the red and blue looks mint)
