Its a 2x 700km drive, so i just hope the tubes are as good as they should be with the low hours.

The lenses look like 10E because of the plastic housings. You may have really scored as those lenses would be worth $1000 alone if they are in nice condition.

Thanks Craig..

Now u say it i wondered about the finish on those lenses.. How do the HD10E compare to the F or the GT17.?

The auction ended at 533 Euro, so i hope its all worth the Money and long drive.

The 10E (HFQ900) are the best lenses that exist.

The 10F are second best.

The GT17's are the third best.

Some would say that the HFQ900's are a little better than the 10E, but they are the same lens in theory. Some also say that the 10F are the same as the GT17, but there are a lot of different versions of the 10F and the later builds are better (like the ones on the G90 for example).

Thanks Craig..

I just have experience with my GT17 on my Vidikron, and nothing to compare with.. Cant say i ever felt the need to complain about those, but i have often wanted to open a set and make the inside of the lens sides less reflective. Just to see if that would make any difference.

Be sure ill compare those sets.. if im so Lucky that the set on the new machine is made to fit my screen.

Ill get my red C element instaled.. And get those latest MP mods done and instaled..

Ill not stop that Marquee before it starts smoking.. Twisted Evil

Can you take Pictures of the lenses, and the serial nr of yours, and post it here..?

As i understand the GT17 is not made with plastic front like shown in the auction Pictures, so they might be different..

do yours have the audio phono plugs on the vim Card.?

Thanks.. Its clear to see its a different lens, and a much more dirty one to.. so they clearly have been used differently.

The lables on the auction fotos shows a yellow lable, and some very clean lenses.

What is the model and serial nr of yours.?

The Projector was a little bit dusty but in a very good condition. At the moment I'm travelling for work but when I'm back I can post some picture of the projector and can tell you the serial nr.

The Projector was a little bit dusty but in a very good condition. The only bad thing is that it runs over 4700 hours and not 500 Thumbs Down So I've thought about bringing the projector back but the tubes are clean and I decided to keep the projector.

Great..

Ill be picking mine up Friday, and then ill post some info here to.

If i was you i would not be sad with those GT17 lenses and the hours if there is no burn on the tubes.

I have a 9500LC with GT17, and they look very fine.. Worse would be to buy one with special lenses that is bad for normal screen size, like GT26.

Would you mind teling what you had to pay for it..?

Killer Razz

The lenses alone were worth the drive... but you got a whole projector in good shape with low hours.

You stole it!
