I was going to be putting up my sheetrock soon and thought I better run some cable/sat/internet lines. Is Belden still considered the king or is there very little difference between them and the competition?

For coax I use RG6 quad shielded from HomeDepot. They have it by far for the cheapest price anywhere for 1000' spools and the quality is really good.

Home Depot is NOT the best price. Directv specifies rg6 rated at 3ghz though all their current equipment will work with any duel or quad shield rg6. For the last 10 years I have pulled a 1" conduit to every display location I have installed, it's the only way to truly future proof. If you are only going to pull copper I would recommend bringing (2) two cat5 or better along with the coax. YMMV
