Well I am back from my 3 week trip....I was just going over what I have spent on my own CRT related purchases and priced each part I spent because my wife has been griping about how much she THINKS I have spent and it is much lower than initially thought.

Runco 933 $10.00
Two 1208s/2 $50.00 each(no longer have and gave to friend)
808s $50.00 (gave to friend)
947 FREE (gave to friend)
Vidikron Vision 1 with Chief lift (re-tubed) $45.00
Moome card for the VV1 $350.00
Jensen Speakers and Sony receiver- 50.00
100 inch screen $140.00

Then there is the broken red C I wasted money on but I will not go into details of it so it doesn't count.
Razz

Overall for my current setup: $585.00

I think my XG1100 cost almost 3x that with new tubes, plastics, hardware & cabling necessary to properly use it after I got it all said and done.

Might have to have you pick out my next projector ayon Razz

'know what's ironic for me? Over the last 5 years I've spent more time 'collecting' ( hoarding :0) CRT's than watching them. I also have a stack of PC games I never got to. My Win98 box died and I said I'll get back to that. Then my WinXP gaming box got a boot bug that finally made me buy another PC (netbook) I intended to get back to them, then I got a PS3 60gb (on my third one) , Xbox360 Elite ( used for maybe 15 hours in 4 years ) and then I started getting SVHS machines and old audio equipment and I never got back to the old stuff - YET -. Now I'm on my 3rd netbook/laptop just so I can hang out here. Laughing

At least I still have my RPTV, Sony G520P and Lacie Blue monitors handy.

My name is AnalogRocks and I am a CRT collector. Mr. Green

I recently bought another shipping container to allow me to remove the 2 rear pro CRTs from my kitchen, which were there cause the lounge room is too full of other items being or been repaired, including a NANAO 29 inch CRT monitor. Ive got 11 more joysticks on the way and a heap more parts for those. Glad i have a few days off next week!!
