I just got the MX-850 and, of course, can't find the software anywhere online. AND my Omega MX-650 won't Clone my 850 for some reason.

Anyone know where I can get the software?

Thanks,

Tim

There are a lot that are not recognized, that means will not connect to the remote properly.
Remote Control Central is a great place to find answers.

I use RS232, never used a converter. Sorry.

Is it the original communication/programming lead??

Cheers

I keep getting a error code on the remote "fail1" or "Fail9" when trying to detect the firmware....so there is some kind of communication happening.

PM Sent,
Windows 7 and 8 are not supported.
I think there is a work around but never looked at it.

Windows XP works no problems.

HK-Steve,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'm almost 64 years young and I was getting pretty stressed out trying to deal with URC. The 850 software seems to work fine with my MX-700's. I am running it as administrator under Windows 8.1 Pro using a Startech USB to serial adapter. Today is much better!
Thanks!!!!
