Well.
That is it, no more, do NOT ASK any MORE, not going to help

YES. That is the week I have had....... pissed off at the world as too much, too little, and just not enough....
Taking it out on those who have joined to this "wonderful" forum with 1 POST, but done nothing to contribute, or bring anything to this forum.

Thanks again to HK-Steve for helping out many people.

If anyone is still looking for software to program their MX-850, the NXG NR-RM820 software at Remote Central will work on the mx-850, mx-800, and mx-700 remotes.

Hi Steve,

Same boat as many others; have an MX-850 that needs programming, AV guy who set it up is long gone. Any idea how to get the software?

I am from Vietnam. I just bought a MX850 from Ebay without knowing that I need to have the software to program it. Google actually leads me to this forum. I see that some body like me were annoying you in these days. But I am still asking for your help hoping that luck will smile with me.

This really is an international thread! I am in Newfoundland and have a mx-850 that I have not been able to update as components have been replaced. Have since purchased a R40 but it really doesn't measure up.
Hopefully you can help with software. The 850 is priceless to me as nothing else compares as far as I am concerned.

Steve-

I noticed your generosity in helping people in this forum and would really appreciate if you could help me too. I have a MX700 and a MX3000. I need to reprogram my 700 for downstairs use (have the really old software that came with the remote) and install/program a MX3000 for my main theater (Do not have the software). I too have search the bowels of the Internet prior to falling across your generosity to help folks in similar situations.

If you could PM me with the information, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!
