Ok well I tried to attach a picture but it says its to big and I can't shrink it on my phone. But I did notice when I give that little black "box" on the back of the tube a little twist it dims down the green and stops the strobing. Not really sure what that means

Don't adjust anything until you have a stable signal. I know with my RPTV when have a YPbPr signal connected to an RGBHV input you will get an image but it will be very green. Try S-Video as as source the scan lines will be huge but you can see if the colors are about right.

Thats the problem, everything is green. Even with no input connected even the menu options and start up screen has a big time green "shade" I guess I want to call it.

The menu on a Barco are green if I remember correctly from my old BG800 days. Is the screen green or just the text from the menus?

Mike

It is everything that is green. I will try and upload a picture. Not sure if it would be very helpful at all. There is no black its all green.

Ok...that sounds like there might be an issue with the set. Like Nash said it could be the neck board. I don't know enough about a Barco to tell what to try. On some projectors you can swap the neck board from green to red and see if the problem moves. Perhaps a Barco expert can chime in. If it were me I would not adjust any pots without doing some basic trouble shooting. Do you know the history of the set?

All three neck boards that plug onto the back of the CRTs are identical. Take the red CRT socket and move it over to the green. DO NOT put the green one on the red tube. See if the green works normally then. If so, I need the 762XXX part number, but I'm sure I've got stock.

you don't want to put the green one on the red tube in case it is defective, and damages the red tube. If it's bad, I also wouldn't put it back on the green tube either for that matter.
