Is there a system the uses IR to control the lights instead of RF? I want to control everything with my Pronto 2000 but everything I've found so far is RF.

I have a Lutron IR dimmer for my lights. Around $50 from Home Depot. Info: http://www.amazon.com/Lutron-Maestro-Smart-Dimmer-Remote/dp/B0009UFMSG

I use a Xantech 291-KIT (IR repeater kit) as well (around $50-75) since the light switch is no where near where I point my universal remote. More info & pics: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=15268#15268

I bought a unit from Smart Home that converts RF to X10 signals from which I control the lights. I am using my Pronto for this.

Thanks Kal. Exactly what I was looking for. Is there an IR remote extender with more than 1 sender? I'd like to have 2 rooms where I could control the stereo downstairs.

You mean more than one receiver right? (Not sender). You'd put one IR receiver in each room and have any signals that either receive to somewher else.

I think the Xantech stuff lets you do that... take a look at their website. Also check out www.smarthomeusa.com
