Hi guys,
My Fw900 just died last week. It was going out of focus occasionally with a slight buzzing noise then pop back into focus.
I went to turn it on last week and got a pop and a small flash.
Now it won't start. It will just try and startup up and shut off 3 times In a row.

Someone said it is the high voltage transformer?

Anyone know a place in Toronto that can repair it?

Thanks

Rob

If you are sticking to your FW900 only because of zero motion blur during desktop video gaming, here's an easier solution:
https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=33374.html
There is now a new display technology in computer monitors that replaces the FW900 in perfect motion blur clarity (12x sharper motion than 60 Hz LCD).

The FW900, however, is still better/greyscale for videos/movies.
