Oh for sure, if someone will take the lot in one hit, but if they wont, and the alternative is simular to what ive laid out above, give me the recycle bin any day before grossing $300,000 at a net of -$275,000 , give or take 100,000 ill pass either way.

In this country they pay you to take recyclables away ( id be amazed if they dont over there ), so options considered as they are, give me the bin ;)

No here you pay for the bin, especially with leaded glass.

Not any more. Don't let them fool you, I got $130. for a load of scrap projectors and monitors from the local recycling place, they ARE paying for them now...just gotta find the guy who's competing, instead of just feeding at the trough of free stock...

If there is copper and aluminium involved then yes I can see getting money. However if those 60 000 ( Crying or Very sad ) RPTV tubes were bare then here in Toronto you would have to pay.

I woulnd't dump anything. I'd go dumpster diving for it. Laughing

I once had a neighbour that use to flinch when he found out how old my cars were. He couldn't wrap his head around keeping something old going. He use to say "That's how old? You need a new one." I'd just laugh at him and tell him he needed therapy.

He wasted so much on new cars/TV's/snowblowers etc... just because he didn't want to keep the old one.
On the plus side I serviced much of the stuff he put on the curb and found a good home for it.

The snowblower had a loose wire and needed a spark plug Very Happy

I tried to make him see how much money he was wasting but it was like talking to the tree in front of his house. Which as I understand he wanted to change but the city wouldn't let him. Laughing

Yep if it weren't for people like him we wouldn't have all the cool toys for 10 cents on the dollar.
