I could probably sell that for 5-6 times more than what you paid for it as it sits Razz is that a thrift find? I'm wondering when people will finally run out of VCRs to donate Razz

Yep Thrift store find. No remote unfortunately. There's a Panasonic top loader I have my eye on too. Maybe tomorrow. Wink

wow! i had a couple of those (in PAL) several years ago. AWESOME pic quality, but a girlfriend killed both of them by inserting tapes without turning them on first. carried two dead vcrs aarround for years before finally dumping them. probably were the best decks i ever owned..

Really? Not powering them up before inserting tape kills them?! Thanks for the heads up on that one!

Picture quality is good. Build quality is excellent.

Checked it out. It was a top loader with stereo sound and dolby noise reduction. Beat to hell so I passed on it. It did have a service tag dated 1995. Smile

I also found a JVC stereo from the same era that has the same styling. I'll make a post about that soon
