Yesterday during watching a movie I started to smell something burning.
during that time the pj works fine and everything is ok.
Any suggestion what I should do? Or check?

Open the case for a start, see if you can confirm this is where the smell is coming from.

Were you thinking real hard or did you eat Mexican food before this happened?

Very Happy

My guess is the quadrupler, the quad casing might have little cracks(arcings).

I agree, it probably is. If so, I'd keep using the set until it fails completely. I had a quad here once that 'fixed' itself after a few hours of running.

You can also pull every module out to check for burnt connections, sometimes the H output board can have solder joints that burn up. If any solder joints look burnt, DO NOT keep running the set, as failure can damage the tubes.

Hello, some time ago I bought a quad on this forum, once installed in the barco there was a burnt smell, the quad was already when I bought HS. Shortly after he died.
I bought another Curt, it works perfectly, thank you Curt

I do not say thank you to those who sell me another quad that is not cool among hobbyists.

Thank you all.

Today I was running my pj for about 3 hours with no problem at all.

Do you think that I should take out some parts and check for soldering?
if so. which parts?
