hello

im following the curtpalme newbies tutorial, im using the HCFR DVD and the AVSHD patterns, along with hcfr software, i try 2 differentes tv and a projector with the same results, i can't get the red in correct CIE diagram.

i manage to get the contrast, brightness and greyscale but no luck on getting the red in correct position

think is related to the spyder 3 measures.
do i have a faulty Colorimeter

heres some of measures

any solutions ?

regards

Most likely its the meter. How old is it? Tri stimulus meters are good for maybe a year or a bit longer. they have filters that discolor over time due to humidity.

Spectro's last much much longer.

Get the i1 Pro display3 its a very very good meter and they made them last longer than the old tri stimulus meters.

Also you might have to go over to AVS and read up on the new fork of HCFR, they are reworking it and added suport for the new i1 Pro D3.
