Just use standard silicone. I'm guessing that you can't buy GE silicone over in Europe, but any kind of silicone will usually do.

310ml cartridge is more than enough for 3 tubes.

Heres few black rtv (motor silicone) available in EU.

Hylomar 102
Loctite 5900
Loctite 5910
Granville RTV Black
etc.

Dennis your going ot need ot get the old tube out. If you have an old , cheap screwdriver your willing ot part with and a bench grinder , grind the end of the screwdriver down to about 5mm wide and sharpen it like a chisel. Now you can use it to gouge out the old filler. It should come in pretty big chunks.
Once your all the way down, getting the tube out is still tricky because it is glued down on the face. I made a puller that pushes a block of wood against the tube, like this pic.

Other people have broken the old tube out in pieces with a hammer. Please wear safety glasses and gloves if you do this .

i guess there is no risk of breaking the tube face with that wooden block when applying much pressure?

thanks for the suggestions all, really helpful.

Not very likely with Panasonic tubes, front glass is very thick and corners even thicker.

I have used 20 ton hydraulic press with wood block to press Marquee tubes out of hardware, nice sound when those pop out. Very Happy

if you dig out the potting first and use as large a block of wood as possible then there shouldn't be a problem. I've done approximately 10 tubes so far and none broke
