The definately worth something, those are the best 7-8" AC lenses guys with stock marquee 8500 and barco AC machines all dream about those lenses 
If I were you, I'd save the pg xtra's green tube for myself it may be useful later for the XG.

Would 6pg xtra tubes fit in a plain old 9PG?
I read on curt's site that the tubes are slightly longer .... looking in my 9PG chassis there's isn't a lot of spare room.

No, they are different, however PG plain and PG plus use exactly the same tubes.

Why? They are very capable sets (not just because I own one of them  ) A PG xtra is definately better than a stock barco 808, and on par with a marquee 8500 which are not in the 100$ ballpark.
IMO the 8" EM machines are the best you can get, they can do a pretty decent 1080p picture (or 1080i for sure), while a (good) used tube for a 9" machine costs 10x more than a 8" tube  |
Let me preface this by saying that I hope Janzy gets good money for his tubes.
I am not trying to be a jerk, but it is the reality of the situation. Notice I said international buyers, which you are one. Is a PGX a good machine? Yes, it is more than capable for most people. The problem is that people can pick up inexpensive 1080p digitals for under $1k. You may not like them, but they are more than acceptable to most consumers. This contracts the market, which brings down the prices for all machines.
It looks like there are still two types of CRT buyers. There are those that are dumpster divers looking for the cheap price and the buyers that are willing to pay decent prices for the high end machines like a 909.
Honestly, if you think these tubes are worth something to you then I will part out my excellent tube (at least "8" green and "9" red and blue) G70 and sell them to you. It would make an easy decision on whether to keep the G90 or the G70s.

I would rather not part anything out, not looking to make any money, but would like to recover just what I have into it.
I'm keeping the 135lc just because I love the technology. The g70's tubes were garbage and has no remote. I' m not gonna spend more than a C note for one either.
I tried to GIVE working 6pg's away for free and had no takers.

If you were in the US, I'd be interested in the tubes for the 6PG Xtra. The cost is so low that they are worth holding onto for my buddy's machine as backup tubes should a boot crap or something bizarre.

And you just proved my point. To me, it just isn't worth it to part out my G70 for $50 a tube. I would love to do a package deal with my 2 G70s for $500, but I haven't seen any buyers stateside willing to pay that for awhile now.

As sets they get more value -- working machine with backups or good for a blend. In fact, do both G70s have good tubes? If my wife gets a job, by next summer I'd consider stepping (way) up from my still minty-tube matched ECPs to (2) G70s for about that. I am pretty serious about doing a CRT blend in year or so to come. Although I do have a fondness for the ease and simplicity of my ECP...and I've been hoarding parts for two years now!
To give away the 6PGs you'll need to do what Don did with his -- give them to someone like me who is willing to push a friend with an an ancient, ancient RPTV and an underutilized basement into installing it there. The guy and his wife saw a crude floor setup on a bedsheet and were impressed and excited.

Sorry, it is only one functioning machine. I parted the other one, because the tubes were shot. I kept all of the boards for back up, which is what I recommend everyone do. I gave the tubes and housings to someone for a LC Barco conversion.
