I've added some pics. Not sure what's going on. Started about 2 weeks ago, but seems to be an issue with green washing into white... sometimes it's other colors the green washes into (ie: the purple uniforms as well... same visual result). Occasionally, this wash has a blue tint as well. I went through and focused/converged. Didn't help. This is a new one for me. Any suggestions?

TV/Projector: All of them!

If this is a BG808s, my guess would be the tube. If the chassis has >10K hours on it, and the tubes are original, then the tube is losing emission. I've seen this lots with the SOny tubes in the BG808s. The MEC tubes don't do this. If it gets worse as you turn the contrast up, that's usually what it is.

I have a full NOS set of BG808s Sony tubes for $1000 if you're interested.

Hi,

looks to me like the green (or the blue when it fades into blue) tube is driven too hard. You can verify this by lowering the contrast with Your remote. It should go away then.
Usually this can be attributed to aging tubes (how much run time do You have on them?) but if it started only two weeks ago and no changes in the settings/sources were involved it's more likely some other problem.
It could be that aging parts on the SMPS2/G2/Diagnostic board (R7625061) or on the neck boards (R762721) have changed their values and that this influences how the tubes are driven.
You could try to lower the G2 levels in order to get rid of this but if it's due to aging parts it will be a temporary solution only...

Meant to get back to everyone before being on vaca fro 2 weeks. When I checked, the contrast was at 99!!!!? Not sure how or why that happened... or why I hadn't noticed, but changing that seemed to resolve the issue. So thanks for your input and your help Smile
