Just got home Thumbs Up Made really good time going home including a stop for gas 275miles in 3hrs 45min

For once I was not the last person standing at a GTG Laughing Shocked

The stack was incredible, seeing 3D for the first time on a CRT was fun, have seen a bunch at the theaters but never in HT.

Now Cliff just needs to get another set of amps so he can run his speakers Bi-Amped Mr. Green

Me too! Good meet indeed! No one got a pix of me sleeping in the theatre this year as well. Smile

Sadly. I still can't see 3D due to the lazy eye thing, but 2D is way good enough for me, esp on Cliff's stack.

Amazingly good food, thanks White Castle! Oh, and Don's meat tasted good in my mouth as well.

(that was the running joke last night, and I dared to post it!) Very Happy

Seriously though, Don has a way with a BBQ like no other. The Food Network should come calling one day...

Will upload pix when I get back home..

For everyone who came out I truly hope you enjoyed your stay! I for one had a blast! I wont say much about how the setup turned out, I'll leave that to the rest of the gang as I think its more representative. Smile

Here are my pics (screenshots taken by hand):

It took 3.5hrs sleep in last two days and 16hrs driving to spend 11 hours at Cliff's....SOOOO glad I found a way to get out there! All the superlatives, gushing, YOU SUCKS, and prodding/encouraging/praising that have been thrown out over the years don't begin to capture the glory that is his setup. Grateful to have experience it and equally please to meet everyone in attendance!

Thanks for the hospitality and the genuine honesty and joy in which you shared your passions, Cliff.

My favorite lines of the day:
1) While Peter Gabriel was getting started (sans audio):
Curt: "I do feel like I'm at a concert -- I can't hear anything and the people behind me won't shut up." Smile

2) During a discussion on how much ammo one should have on hand...
Name withheld: "I have enough ammo to get the ammo I'd need..."

Bedtime for Bonzo (and then more later!)
Matt, the almost sleeping beauty

Looks like a good time was had by all! Sure wish I could pull it off to make one of these.

Oh BTW Curt:

I am seeing first hand what Springsteen and John Cougar write about when they talk about the heartland of America. Amazing...

Springsteen is a Joisey boy, and Mellencamp is from [nasal]IndiANNA[/nasal]. Mr. Green Wouldn't surprise me if they never saw the wilds of MT or ND like you did, or at least not until long after they wrote those songs. But I wouldn't exactly call 'em the "heartland" since they're way the hell up on the very northern edge of the country. I mean, they're so far north you can see **Canadia** from there!!! Laughing

Glad everyone had fun!

Give me a shout when you get close ok? I'm back to work starting tomorrow so please forgive my grumpyness when you come LOL.

My guess is Curt is going to be pretty wrapped up this week, so not sure if he will be able to make it that soon, but I will help to make sure everything is in order. Make sure you bring Diapers. Wink
