OT, but sort of related, I see that avs bumped the CRT forum way down on their 'display devices' list sometime in the last couple of days.

We're it, baby! Custer's last stand! Smile

I saw that. It looks like they reorganized the whole forum listing. I understand why. Flat panels get most of the traffic.

I still don't like the new forum software.

Well, I guess there's no accounting for taste. As a graphic designer, I really like the new AVS forum software. It's much cleaner and more sophisticated. The old layout was EXTREMELY dated; it hadn't really changed significantly in the 10 years or whatever since I started reading it.

Hey, AVS... 2001 is calling - it wants its forum layout back, and it asked its friends Spanky and Haydn to come along. Wink

What specifically don't you like about the new forum?

I guess I don't like how it seems so narrow. It feels squished.

Another big thing is how it handles log in and previously read threads. When I log in here or there previously, the new threads are bold since you last logged out.
