First of all I should tell you what I've got. Sony 1272 (10,000 hrs +, but has new tubes bought from Curt), Lumagen HDQ, Digital Input module V2. Up until last night at 8:30 everything was working perfectly. I finally got the Lumagen dialed in and the digital input module made the picture twice as good. Then all of a sudden no video input on the digital module and there is no error code showing. So this morning I start the trouble shooting ritual. First I swapped inputs on the projector-no change. I check the input lights on the digital module and it says it's not receiving any video signal. I figure it's the Lumagen, but just for the heck of it I hook up its RGBHV output still using the HDMI source. No change. Next I drag out my previous unit a Crystalimage V4 using RGB input and RGBHV out. It works, but the picture has a green cast to it. Then I go back and try the Lumagen with a RGB input from two different sources and RGBHV out(yes I remembered to change the setting in the Lumagen)....nothing. Then back to the Crystalimage again from the same two different sources...now it works(sort of), but the picture is a weirdly distorted frozen image with a bluish cast. So after years of saving and finally getting everything together, even a set of color corrected lens, the system fails. I will keep working at this, but I am open to any and all suggestions even to buying another working 1272 and pulling boards or retrofitting my new tubes. Thanks for any and all help.

Serious bummer. Your post confuses me a little on the sequence of events (not that I could help). To clarify, was it:
a) Everything was all setup and working fine (including lumagen) and then poof, no input OR
b) Everything was all setup and working fine AND then you dialed-in the lumangen which led to poof no input
I wonder if the green tint with old setup is a result of changing to the new lenses/lumagen in the time since using your old source chain?

Do you have the user manual for the Lumagen? It's probably set on the wrong input. You have to select a code for the input you are using. If you dont have the manual I can look it up.
Does the lumagen menu come up when selected? I believe you have to select the output also.

First of all thanks to those of you who took the time to respond. Since I last posted I ran straight video into the main input module. The projector works that way. I then dug up a SVHS/video input module and tried it with straight video that way on both input slots. Again the projector works. I did try running straight RGB from both DVD players to the RGB input module (the one with the dip switches) with no success. Maybe that RGB impute module was bad. It has been a while, but I thought I remembered using the carousel DVD player that way before. I will have to dig up my other one. As the evening progressed I played a DVD through the Lumagen and observed the input status lights. Assuming the HDMI interconnect and input module are working correctly I watched the status lights come and go through several configurations with the projector still registering no video at the input. So here is my assessment of possible reasons for the failure:
1. Output section of Lumagen has failed. (remember their was no RGBHV out to the RGB module)
2. Some part of the digital input module as well as the RGBHV has failed. (HDMI Module has maybe 30/40 hrs on it)
3. Bad HDMI cable. (brand new)
4. Some part of the projector that deals with RGB input has failed. (no error code though)
5. A combination of any or all of the above.
I am leaning towards the failure of the Lumagen output section and will pursue that. The only wrench in my theory is why which Crystalimage V4 which worked perfectly up until a month ago when I swapped it out would not work either. I may retry that with the other RGBHV module.
Again, thanks to those who responded and I am still open to possibilities.

I'd try the cable first. How long is the HDMI cable?
Try swapping the cable end to end

BILL | there is no RGB from DVD players, only 1 or 2 I can remember seeing in years with true RGB output. Are you talking about component output? If it's component out, then plugging that into an RGB port will give you a green-only picture. Read this

On a Sony with an IFB12 or 12a it can be switched to take component input. OP is clearly not giving enough information so I dropped out.
