Hi there,

I haven`t been on this forum since a long tine because my Pj 1209s was just working fine and we watched 100īs of movies without problem. But latley it developed following problem:

It started that the projector lost hv just every now and then and after turning the pj off and on again it worked fine again.
The intervalls became shorter an shorter and I noticed that it shuts off the hv quicker the brighter the picture was.
Now the hv shuts of ca. 20 sec after power on.
No scan fail LEd all other LED are green.
I changed the EHT card no effect.

Do you have any idea.

Thanks

Joerg

I just went through the same thing with the same projector, unfortunately it was the quad which I luckily had a brand new spare.

Check to see if the red lights come on on the EHT board when the pix goes out. If so, it's most likely the quad. I've got stock.

Must be the Wetter here in Germany...

My Barco BG808s just gives up with the same issue.

Worked for a few years now, than during the film picture turned black. Go to standby and back to Film give me an other 30 min to watch the Movie.

today I removed the covers to check it, RED LEd on EHT Board turns on. Replaced EHT board and Problem didn't changed.
Shortly before the Picture turns black, there is a strange sound from the Quadroupler area, like a cable is touching a rotating Fan. But no ligthning visible or Ocon smell.
Timing seams to go smaller before the error is seen with every test.

Gess I have to ask Curt also for a Quad.... Or anything what I shoud check/try before?

thanks

The problem can be the quad, EHT board or the splitter. Most likely it's the quad. I just got 15 more in, so it's a good time to buy, as I do run out of them once in a while.
