The page actually says, 'Technical Specifications: Resolution: 640x480'.

Correct. It can take a 1080i signal on the input. It cannot display more than 480p however since that's what the panel is (640x480).

Even if it's free (which I don't understand why it would be) I would not use or take this projector as it's a piece of junk that you'll end up putting in the land fills sooner than later. We don't need to support junk like this.

Exactly. +1.

Still, if history is a guide, we'll probably soon be reading a post containing one of the following:
A) more rationalization about why he should try it, or
B) chastisement about how we're not helpful and should just answer the questions.

Wait, I'm not sure I believe my eyes... Let me get this straight... You come here asking for advice. You want to use a certain projector - a half-breed, no-name, unsupported POS. Then, when people care enough take the time to post to tell you stay away from said half-breed POS, you argue, rationalize, and post meaningless "specs" from a web site.

Then, out of nowhere, for what I can see is no good reason whatsoever, you insult one of the people trying to save you some money and headache. But, this isn't just anybody you're "going off" on... No, this is the guy who created this site, runs this site, and a guy most of us here have been chatting with for years, and a guy who is trying to save you from wasting your time and money.

By the sound of your posts, I'm going to assume you're young and/or a bit immature, so instead of going nuclear on you, I'm going to cut you some slack and simply suggest you go back and edit your post, apologize, and stand down... Because your last post was completely and utterly uncalled-for.

Curt, I'd be HAPPY to nuke his account, but I want to give him a chance to redeem himself. Let's see if he can't take it like a man when he's told he's way, way out of line.

Hi,

This is not intended as an insult, but it seems to me that You don't understand the concept called "irony" regarding Curt's answer ("OK, you win. Yes, it will do it, it will work fine.").
The fact is that nobody knows if it will work. You will have to try it. The experienced people on this site simply know that a nice feature list and existing input plugs don't guarantee a favorable output.
There are only two options:

- It will work. But it will look crappy due to the low physical resolution.
- It won't work at all.

You have no risk in trying it as it is for free, right? So just do it and report back...

Regards,
barclay66
