....indeed...
Visible in black levels and appearing after let's say 15...20min and disappear after 45min (or a slight knock on the rear panels but than they might re-appear after some time)
So...I took out the boards including the moome HDMI and cleaned all the connectors including the 3 internal RGB cable/connectors that are stuck on the board...
Guess what...didn't help
After about an hour of operation the problem is not there anymore...so I expect it to be thermal ..
Does anyone have a clue where to start solving this?
Regards,
Arno

Hello
Swap the red and blue mini cables coming off the top of the VIM. If blue persists it could be a neckboard issue.

make sure the 2 big black wires that go the neck-board are making a good connection. Clean with de-oxit and make sure they are tight, not loose and wiggling. There carry a lot of static from the tube bell and will cause the noise your describing. Also bend the 2 tabs back towards you with needle noise pliers. This a VDC tech bulletin to reduce noise from the wires. Make sure the card is well supported so you don't stress the tube pins or take card off tube

Hi there...
Sorry it took some time to try the suggestions...was too busy with work and broke an arm as well in the meantime
Anyhow,
I swapped the Red and Blue RCA connector cable on the board, watched a movie...and yep...problem was still present in Blue
SO, must be th neck board. Took it out re-tightned and cleaned all the connectors...watched a film yesterday an NO PROBLEMO anymore!
Thanks a lot!
Arno
