I have a couple of 16 year olds here raking leaves since it's a sunny day. Last night I scrapped a G70, and it's sitting in the driveway, ready to go to the recycler. THe one kid I know brings a friend of his. The friend meets me, points to the G70 carcass, and says:
'My stepdad has one of those on his ceiling'.
What? Really?
So I ask him if he has it connected to HD, and the kids says 'no, he was about to buy a new projector' I tell the kid about the Moome card, give him my business card, and tell him to tell his stepdad to call me.
Weird!

I'm surprised you even mentioned the Moome. I figured you'd just hope it was another minty G90 you could get dirt cheap;-)

Funny, it could be a G90, never throught of that. I just thought it was random that some kid would show up, and say 'we have one of those!'. I thought I knew of literally every CRT in Vancouver...

maybe kind does not really know the differences and thinks every 3 eyed monster is the same...
could also be a bloody baseband sony

I haven't got a call from him. The kid I hired for gardening also hasn't shown up again. Go figure. I actually need him to WORK before I pay them.

I know, I'm stunned. Then again, apparently I've been entitled to a number of G90s since Jan1. Oh wait, I .... wait for it...... PAID for them!

The kids dad probably has a CRT PJ, doubt its the same model, similar possibly, but I bet the kid was just thinking that in general.
As for expecting anything out of useless teenagers these days, dont. It is a futile effort curt. One of my friends has a brother a little older than that, hes totally useless, actually hes mroe useful if I dont pay him anything, just fix his crap he brings over. That gets him to work!
You should try that approach
