My G70 is in the ceiling and there is a sealed cavity above it for the lift.

I'm thinking of getting one of these to dump the heat into the attic.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

That should be plenty.

My hush box exhausts with two 120mm fans 87cfm each. And they only run at 60%

The more things you put in the chain of events to exhaust the air, the more things can go wrong.

The fan is all you need.

My projector is in A hush box, I chose A 150mm Ducted extraction fan so I could position the noisy fan motor away from the HT,
the extraction vent is mounted in my rear Riser close to the back of the projector.. Its simlar to this one.

The two biggest issues for me where:
1, A balance between as small of fan motor but with Large anough CFM to insure all the projectors exhausted hot air is extracted..
2, Placing the fan motor in A Box stuffed with sound absorbing substate then Isolation mounting the extraction fan box to alleviate
vibration/ noise entering the HT produced by the extraction fan operation..

I use a line level thermostat that switches the DC power supply on and off automatically. Real simple and reliable.

When the PJ turns off the fans continue to run until the hush box temps drop low enough.
