I'm trying to purchase a g90 and I'm currently running a 46 inch sony led lcd tv. I went the route last time with a g70 but didnt have any luck after i got the room set up with anyone near me to calibrate it.So want to see if anyone near me has a crt I can view to see what im instore for as in colors and sharpness compared to me being in the digital world for so long.
Any help would be appreciated..thanks michael 8138387078

How SOLD are you on the G90? Smile

The ONLY reason I ask is I'll soon have two Marquee 8500s and I only need one; but I couldn't resist snagging a Vision 2 Thumbs Up . I've had my current M8500 since I got it from Curt a few years ago.

My current plan is to take the JoustMods/HD145s and Moome VIM HD V3 HDMI 1.3 input card off the current M8500, and place them on the Vision 2 when it arrives; Curt is prepping it now. Then I'll have ChadB calibrate the Vis2.

If you feel like driving a short distance (not sure where in Tampa you stay..I used to stay in Tampa in a couple of places...in the USF area many moons ago....and near Lutz/North Tampa (on Van Dyke Road) some 15 years ago. I'll be more than happy to let you see just what the projector is capable of. I just had it ISF-calibrated on 03/29...when the new VIM HD v3 HDMI 1.3 card was installed. And it looks unbelievable.

Even if you're not interested in an 8 incher and simply want a 9 incher, I can still show you what a properly calibrated great 8 incher can do up close and personal; I have a dedicated HT room (nothing fancy, but fully light-controlled).

Also ChadB will be BACK in the area during May, to calibrate my Vis2 (assuming it's here); so if you check out my rig and like how it looks, you can contact him and probably get him to work you into his schedule in a month or so as well.

Let me know.
